CRC (Mung): Hi Steven, How are you?
Steven (Volunteer): Fine Thank you.
CRC (Mung): It’s nice to have you here at CRC. Could you please tell us when did you first hear about CRC?
Steven (Volunteer): I first heard about CRC when Joe talked about it
when we had breakfast together.
CRC (Mung): Oh, Is it? Could you please tell us more about yourself?
Steven (Volunteer): Sure. I am 18 years old. My hobbies include photography, cycling, painting and gaming. I have just finished my pre-u programme at Taylor’s and I’m waiting for my results to be out. I hope my pre-u results can get me into Monash University, where I can study Environmental Management. Until then, I am looking for
a part-time job that involves photography.
CRC (Mung): That’s great! I hope that you will surely get into Manash University so that you can achieve your dreams.
Steven (Volunteer): Thank You.
CRC (Mung): You’re welcome. So, May I know what’s your first impression on CRC?
Steven (Volunteer): CRC is a well thought organization that not only make the
World a better place by making donations to the needy, but also recycles and reuse stuff thus making the world a bit less polluted.
CRC (Mung): After joining CRC for two Charity events, what do you feel about CRC?
Steven (Volunteer): I feel that CRC is a charitable organization. More people should join this community.
CRC (Mung): Would you recommend others to join CRC?
Steven (Volunteer): Yes, I would.
CRC (Mung): Then Why?
Steven (Volunteer): Because CRC needs more hands and recyclable and reusable products to be donated and/or sold for charity.
CRC (Mung): What is your favorite activity when you’re in a CRC charity event aside from taking photographs?
Steven (Volunteer): Aside from taking photographs for CRC members, I enjoy giving out ang-pows and CRC goodie-bags to orphans.
CRC (Mung): Yes, me too. Thank you for joining and helping CRC and thank you for your time for this interview.

Community Recycle for Charity (CRC) Services

Hi! Have you heard of CRC? I bet you have!!!
Well, if you haven’t, CRC is Community Recycle for Charity. Yes, it is a Non Profit Organization (NPO). Isn’t that interesting! Basically, it means, the community recycling for the community itself (About Us).
As a Charity Organization we celebrate charity events weekly.
We’d go to orphanages, children’s homes etc… Those are just few examples. It’s so much fuN!!!
We hope you can come and join us one day!…
Really, we welcome individuals to corporate, in other words we welcome anyone and everyone who cares about their community to come and join us in our activities and events.
I guess by now you’re wondering “where and how can I know what CRC’s going to do?” It’s really simple, check out our website or join our networks, there’ll you’ll be informed of when and where and what we’re going to do every week!! We’re not limited to orphanages and children’s homes. Just so you know, we are not limited in our charity work because we want to help anyone and everyone who needs help regardless of race, age nor religion. If you think someone’s in need of help within your community call us up for a “Need Form”, fill it up and you can rest assured that that person or home will receive help. Email your request to community@crcbox.com.my, we’ll consider all applications.
Okay, this is the best part, don’t miss it!
CRC also makes available volunteer opportunities so that anyone and everyone who cares about their community can come together to share their ability to make someone’s life better.
Here at CRC, it is not about how much we can give to those in need but rather what we can do with what we have for those in need.
To help our communities we must work as a community. We can’t do everything by ourselves.

Stop, Look and Listen
Life can be so filled up with work and get us lost in our efforts to take control of our life. Instead of us being in control of our life, life takes control of us and in that process we forget the main reason why we put so much effort in work for a living.
Can we find meaning for our lives if we only stop once in a while to examine the main reason why we put so much effort to work?
What do we see when we look around us?
What do we hear when we listen to those around us?
When stop to find meaning in my life and ask myself “why I put so much effort to work?” I can only say that it is for success, a better life and comfort.
When I look around me, I see people with the same ideal ‘success, a better life & comfort.
When I listen to those around me, all I hear is ‘life is difficult’.
Indeed life is difficult that’s why we work so hard and spend most of our time to work and thoughts on how to make our lives better, how to live more comfortably. Often times these thoughts and work end up in actions where some other persons’ disadvantage.
Most of us consciously or unconsciously embrace the philosophy of the ‘survival of the fittest’. We may not admit it but it is there within all of us. Every man/woman for his/her own, to achieve success, comfort, recognition and fame we step on each other to get to our end goal.
Ironically, we only find ourselves wanting more and more in the course pursuing our ambitions. Yes, it does make us feel accomplished but are we really satisfied & are we truly happy? Does it bring us joy when we’re doing well? Yes it does, but are we happy when we see and hear that others around us are suffering? Am I? Are you?
Living in a world where the rich gets richer and the poor getting poorer, what role do we play? Do we feel responsible or do we blame those in poverty for their laziness and misfortunes?
There’s not many a community where crime rates are decreasing. If we look within our communities, we’ll find poverty rate increasing and when that happens, we find that crime rates are increasing as well.
Undeniably, our community has an effect on our way of life, our development, safety and most importantly our future and the future of our generation. As a community we either grow or fail.
Inevitably, we’re all members of a community. In our efforts to grow and be successful, let’s not forget our communities. If only we all in one accord contribute to the growth of our communities as much as we exert our effort for personal growth we’d all be living a better, more prosperous, secure and satisfied life.
